Come and meet the Monkeys!

Some of the Sock Monkeys have arrived with a glimpse into their past. There may be a story of where they were found or saved or where they spent a good part of their lives so far. There are some Monkeys that bear a strong resemblance to others, as if they were made by the same person, to go together. Through the years they were separated through no fault of their own. Many of these Sock Monkeys have found their way to the Sock Monkey Museum, where they have been reunited with their long lost relative. We call them Solemates!

There are hundreds and hundreds of Monkeys at the Museum whose past is unknown, with few clues as to where they have been before coming to the Museum. Why is one dressed as a cheerleader, why is one covered in pink boa feathers, why is another wearing a button that says Galena Ghost Walk, and why are some missing a limb? What happened to them before they got here? Their backgrounds may remain a mystery but a few things are certain: each Sock Monkey was made with love for someone, and their intentions are the same – to make people smile and spread happiness.
